Terms of Use
Effective date: January 2026 Last updated: January 2026
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of https://dkbadvocates.in (the "Website"), operated by DKB Advocates, a proprietary law practice of Adv. Darshit Bhanderi, enrolled with the Bar Council of Gujarat, having its office at 103, Krishna Complex, Nr. Balaji Hall, 150 ft Ring Road, Rajkot – 360004, Gujarat, India.
By accessing, browsing or using the Website, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Website.
Please read these Terms together with our Disclaimer, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
1. Nature of this Website
The Bar Council of India does not permit advertising or solicitation of work by advocates. Accordingly:
- This Website is informational only. It exists so that a person who is already looking for us can find out who we are, where we sit, and what areas of law we work in.
- Nothing on this Website is an advertisement, an inducement, a solicitation, or an offer of legal services.
- By accessing the Website you confirm that you are doing so of your own accord, and that no attempt has been made by us to advertise or solicit work from you.
2. No legal advice
Nothing on this Website — including the Services pages, Blog, Case Studies, FAQ, or any answer given in general terms — constitutes legal advice or a legal opinion, and none of it may be relied upon as such.
Law changes, and the outcome of any matter turns on its own facts and documents. Content on the Website may be incomplete, out of date, or inapplicable to your situation.
If you have a legal issue, obtain independent legal advice on your own facts. Do not act, or refrain from acting, on the basis of anything you read here.
3. No advocate–client relationship
Reading this Website, submitting the enquiry form, sending an email, or messaging us on WhatsApp does not create an advocate–client relationship.
An advocate–client relationship arises only when:
- we have accepted the matter in writing after checking for conflicts of interest; and
- the terms of engagement, including fees, have been agreed.
Until then, information you send us may not be protected by advocate–client privilege. Please see our Confidentiality & No Advocate–Client Relationship Notice.
4. Use of the enquiry form
The enquiry form is for initial contact only. When you use it, you agree that:
- the information you give is true and is your own;
- you will not send case papers, property or revenue documents, evidence, or confidential details of a live or contemplated dispute;
- you will not use the form to send spam, abuse, threats, or unlawful content; and
- we are under no obligation to respond, and a lack of response does not mean your matter has been accepted, assessed, or is being acted upon.
Time limits do not wait for us. If your matter is time-sensitive — an appeal period, a limitation date, a notice period under revenue or RERA proceedings — do not rely on an enquiry sent through this Website. Contact us by phone, or consult another advocate immediately.
5. Fees and refunds
No payment is taken through this Website. There is no facility to pay online, and we will never ask you to pay through a link on this Website.
Fees for any engagement are agreed separately, in person and in writing. Refunds, if any, are governed solely by those agreed written terms and not by this Website.
If you receive any communication purporting to be from DKB Advocates asking you to pay online, treat it as fraudulent and contact us on +91 94097 28336 to verify.
6. Intellectual property
All content on the Website — text, articles, case studies, logos, marks, graphics, images, layout and design — is owned by DKB Advocates or used with permission, and is protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and other applicable laws.
You may read the Website and print or save pages for your own personal, non-commercial reference.
You may not, without our prior written permission:
- reproduce, republish, distribute, or make the content publicly available;
- use the content for any commercial purpose;
- copy or imitate our name, logo or branding;
- scrape, harvest, index or extract content by automated means, including for the purpose of training any artificial intelligence or machine learning model; or
- remove any copyright or ownership notice.
See our Copyright & Intellectual Property Notice.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Website for any unlawful purpose, or in breach of any Indian law;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, its server, or any connected system;
- introduce any virus, malware, or other harmful code;
- overload, disrupt or interfere with the Website or its infrastructure; or
- impersonate any person, or misrepresent your association with any person.
We may restrict or block access to the Website, without notice, where we reasonably believe this clause has been breached.
8. Third-party links and content
The Website contains links to external websites, including our Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook pages, and embeds third-party content such as Google Maps and YouTube videos.
We do not control those sites and services, do not endorse their content, and are not responsible for them. Visiting them is at your own risk and subject to their own terms.
9. Availability
We do not guarantee that the Website will be available at all times, uninterrupted, or free of error. We may suspend, withdraw or change all or any part of the Website without notice.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DKB Advocates, Adv. Darshit Bhanderi, and any person associated with the practice shall not be liable for any loss or damage — direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or otherwise, including loss of rights, loss of a claim, loss of limitation period, loss of profit, or loss of data — arising from:
- your use of, or inability to use, the Website;
- any reliance placed on the content of the Website;
- any error, omission, or inaccuracy in the content;
- any unauthorised access to, or interception of, information you transmit to us; or
- anything on a third-party website linked from here.
Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, including the professional obligations owed to an actual client under an actual engagement.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DKB Advocates and Adv. Darshit Bhanderi against any claim, loss, cost or expense arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Website.
12. Privacy
Your use of the Website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, why, and for how long.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. The current version is the one posted on this page. Continued use of the Website after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Website, are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Rajkot, Gujarat shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
